Many visitors of Lake Dorothy backpack further to Bear, Deer, and Snoqualmie Lakesm, but for us it was another day hike to the lake, along the lake, and back. The trail climbs 1.7 miles to the lake, then coitinues along its East bank and beyond. The North end of the lake has good swimming sites.
